Glenview Greek Fest at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church

Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church hosted its annual festival where hundreds of guests enjoyed authentic Greek food, live music, drinks, dancing and more.

Popular food items included pork souvlaki, grilled octopus, athenian chicken, gyros, greek sausage (loukaniko), spanakopita and more.

Guests also enjoyed a variety of Greek pastries and other sweet treats including loukoumades, baklava and Homer's famous ice cream!

This event photo gallery was sponsored by Union Ale Houseserving great food and drink in a friendly, casual setting. The family owned eatery is Prospect Height's favorite place to enjoy appetizers, burgers, wraps, bbq ribs and great daily specials. Drink specials also available every day!

Each year in July, Holy Taxiarhai and St Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church presents the Big Greek Food Fest of Niles.

Once again, thousands flocked to the biggest festival in Niles for authentic Greek food including souvlaki, gyros, roasted lamb, pastichio, dolmades, Grecian chicken and more.

Visitors also enjoyed Greek pastries, imported Greek wines, Greek taverna, cooking classes, live music, festival dancers, kids corner, crafts, face painting and more.

Free parking and ATM also available.

St. Sophia 40th annual Greek Festival - Elgin

St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Elgin hosted its 40th annual Greek Fest where guests enjoyed great food, dancing, entertainment, kids games and more.

Happy visitors indulged in authentic Greek food including gyros, souvlaki, athenian chicken, moussaka, pastichio, greek-style fries and more. Greek pastries included baklava, diples, loukoumades and other favorites. The Kafenio served up Greek coffee, frappes, ice cream sundaes and more.

Shoppers also browsed the air-conditioned exhibitor hall where vendors displayed various items for purchase.

And of course, the drive-thru was busy all weekend serving area visitors with delicious Greek fest food items.
