Rick Lindy & The Wild Ones Live at Woodfire Tavern - Long Grove

Woodfire Tavern in Long Grove welcomes Rick Lindy & The Wild Ones for a great night of 50's, 60's and 70's rock 'n roll.

The 4-piece band performs original material plus classic songs by such legends as Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Beatles, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison and others.

Rick's love for music began at the age of 11 when his sister bought him his first guitar. He soon began writing his own tunes after being influenced by Hank Williams and Elvis. Eventually, he would be cast as the lead in several high school musicals before officially launching his rock 'n roll career.

The band has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe over the past 20 years, having opened for Johnny Cash ('97), Robert Gordan ('98) and Hank Thompson ('99). Today, Rick often works with his friends at Oldies 94.7FM on planning various tribute shows.
