Saint Nectarios in Palatine presented its annual Greek Fest where huge crowds enjoyed authentic Greek food, drinks at the Taverna, music, dancing and fun for the kids.

Guests enjoyed delicious Greek chicken, flaming greek cheese (OPA)! plus gyros, souvlaki, pastichio, spanakopita, loukaniko and much more, including Greek coffee, frappe and ice cream!

Visitors enjoyed shopping at The Plaka and also indulged in delicious Greek pastries and desserts, including St. Nectarios' world famous Loukoumades!

The drive-thru was also a huge success serving thousands in the community with food fest favorites.

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church in Elmhurst hosted its annual Taste of Greece festival June 15 thru 17 where guests enjoyed great food, drink, music, dancing and fun for the kids'

Family and friends enjoyed popular rock band 7th Heaven Friday night and great live entertainment throughout the weekend.

Authentic Greek food items included souvlaki, pastichio, gyros, moussaka, rotisserie chicken and more.

Greek sweets include baklava, kourambiedes, loukoumades, diples frappe coffee and other popular items.

Popular food items included Grilled Souvlaki, Gyros, Pastitsio, Grecian Chicken, Spinach Pie (Spanakopita) and other delicacies.

Guests also enjoyed American & Greek Coffee, Frozen Caramel Frappe and classic Greek pastries including Baklava, Loukoumades, Diples and more.
